Philippine Blog Awards 2008

A prestigious blog awards is held for two years now here in the country. The Philippine Blog Awards honor blog sites that excel others in design and contents.

As of April 16, 2008, the nomination for this year’s award ceremony was officially opened. You can enter your personal blog or nominate others for the event.

It adds more inspiration in my blogging hobby knowing that there is an event like this that compliments the work of our fellow Filipino bloggers. Kudos fellow bloggers.

I wish i could enter my blog. hehe

Net Connection Sucks

Grrr…

My temper is beyond the boiling point right now. Our net connection is so slow and it is killing every inch of me.

I am updating the css design of a live site with a 7kb size of style sheet and it took me 2 hours doing it. For the record, I am still stuck with the task.

Oh my! It’s a very busy monday. I got a lot of stuffs to do. The Manic Monday music is echoing in my brain.

Got Visitors Today

Today, 2 of my college pals, Mark and Vhin, dropped by at our house to hang out. It has been so long since the last time that we saw each other.

They arrived some time after six. We chit-chat while playing tong-its, just the old times. God i missed my berks.

Well, though it is a short evening it still a wonderful night to hang out with your friends.

Topics For Review

I was browsing for available topics to write about. There are different genres like books, movies and songs. Software and site reviews are also preferable.

I am still thinking and i can't decide. I am overwhelmed and excited right now.

I signed up for PPP!

Blogging became a hobby for me since last year. I blogged about my life, books, movies, songs and others. Whenever I have time, I write anything that caught my interest. A friend of mine suggested to me, why not monetize my blog and he suggested to my PayPerPost.

Payperpost is a website that pays you to blog. It has a wide marketplace of companies, sites and softwares that are looking for eligible writes to review their products or site. I took the opportunity to write because I knew in myself that I can do the task.

So, I head on to their site and signed up.

I first tried to register my wordpress blog but it was rejected. Wordpress does not accept any profitable posts for their hosted blogs. I just learned about that when my wordpress blog got
rejected the next day.

Because I have other blogs, I didn't hesitate to try again. I submitted my blogspot site. A day after, another sad rejection email came to me. I should have at least 10 posts from the day I submitted this blog. I has stopped posting in blogspot for 2 months because of my wordpress blog. 10 blogs won't hurt.

At last! After 5 days of waiting and 2 rejections, this blog of mine is officially approved by payperpost. Here is their approval letter:

It's Easy to Pretend You are Studying

Here is a very good illustration of it.

This is a very common scenario in every student who finds studying or a subject or a lesson boring. Another thing that adds to this boredom is when your professor is a lifeless human being standing in front of the class. Reading out aloud or discussing in a very solemn rhythm at the rate of 60 words per hour or 1 word per minute. Man, it is tough being trapped in this class. *sigh.

Blogger Customed Theme

I like to have a new look in this blog of mine.

I have been surfing for free blogger templates and they are cool. I just can't choose what I want.

I am also thinking of creating my own blog theme. I'll just have to check out how the code works.

Inquisitive Mind is Back and Alive

After 2 months of being stagnant, this blog is alive and kicking.

Why?

I need 10 posts to pass the requirements in PayPerPost.

What happened to wordpress?

I love wordpress. I do. But they don't accept payperpost. And so I'm back here in blogger.

But don't worry. It will be fun. It would be the beginning of a more serious blogging.
